The King Is Here
Jeremiah 23:5
“‘The days are coming,’ says the LORD, ‘when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.’”
❤️❤️❤️
Long ago, prophets shared important messages from God, speaking the truth even to powerful leaders. The verse above promises a future king who will be good and wise.
The current king is a descendant of David, but Jeremiah criticizes him by saying a better king will come. He saw that the kings of his time were not protecting the hurting or helping those in need.
Many kings in the Bible made mistakes, even David. Yet, Jeremiah brought a message of hope, believing God would send a perfect king who would embody love and kindness.
When Jesus came, He announced that God’s kingdom is here, shining with kindness and welcoming everyone. We know the perfect King—King Jesus—who inspires us to show kindness and help others every day.
Prayer:
Abba Father God, thank You for sending Jesus, the perfect representation of Your love, kindness, and forgiveness. Help my life be full of worship and gratitude for Jesus' coming and His sacrifice. because of Jesus, I can be right with You and live out Your righteous ways, Thank You! In Jesus name, Amen.
John 6:35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
Jesus replied, “I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God’s kingdom!”
Then everyone who has faith in the Son of Man will have eternal life. God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only Son so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never really die. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent Him to save them!
(John 3:3;15-17 CEV)
So you will be saved, if you honestly say, “Jesus is Lord,” and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death. (Romans 10:9 CEV)
