The Rose

THE ROSE
It is June and it's a rainy day
And mostly children cannot play

The silent street with a cloudy sky

And the worried people who walk-by

But a happy thing that I could see

Is that a Rose floating on the sea...
Rainy days over and it's a lovely day
And so as the sparkling blue bay

"Oh what a nice day", people use to say

Look into the sky and you'll see a ray

Which brightens up the children who play

And gladly watch the Rose on the tray...
When a strong man stopped to sail his ark
He would anchored it to a solid rock

With him, is a lovely and noisy lark

That sings beautifully and hark

In his desk there is a pretty mark

Which symbolized a Rose and his ark...
There was a rich man who fell in love
That all in his heart was her lady love

But what it hurts was that she disliked Bob

That he was left alone to his lovely cove

Now the only thing that cheers him up

Is that a Rose beside his tea-cup...
In the land which is not so far away
A fair Lady lives...happy...all called her May

She looks gorgeous in her precious way

She blooms and shines almost everyday

Looking through her window waiting for Jay

Who gave her a Rose last spring of May...
When the King would visit his garden
As the paradise lost by Adam in Eden

His people would be happy and rejoice

For they would hear their King's softly voice

And there in his garden where many plants were bore

Is a fortunate Rose that you'd surely adore...
Winter, spring, summer...again it's a rainy day
And mostly children cannot play

The silent street with a cloudy sky

And the worried people who would pass-by

But the only thing that makes me so happy

Is this pretty Rose floating on the sea...
