Selfish To Selfless
Philippians 2:3 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves," Prayer:
Jesus, You show me what true humility looks like. You gave up everything to serve and save us. It's Your humble sacrifice that paved the way for me to experience fresh life. Thank You! Today, please replace pride with humility and selfishness. Change the way I think and act, and teach me to put others first in a healthy way that honors You. Amen. John 6:35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
Jesus replied, “I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God’s kingdom!” THANK GOD. Christ Brings Real-Life You have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord. Now keep on following Him. Plant your roots in Christ and let Him be the foundation for your life. Be strong in your faith, just as you were taught. And be grateful. God Bless You
Friends, be glad, even if you have a lot of trouble. You know you learn to endure by having your faith tested. But you must learn to endure everything, so you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything. (James 1:2-4) The lions may grow weak and hungry, I pray that God, who gives hope, will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith. May the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope. (Romans 15:13 CEV) We are naturally selfish. Don’t believe it? Spend a day with a toddler. They want what they want immediately and will fight for their favorite toys, ignoring schedules or clean walls. The good news is that people, including toddlers, can learn to be selfless as they grow. Without guidance, though, they will remain selfish. So, how do we change this mindset? The Bible tells us to follow Jesus’ example: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. In humility, value others above yourselves…” (Philippians 2:3-5 NIV). Jesus used His power to serve others, not for personal gain. If you feel self-centered, ask God for help: - Ask Him to help you see others as He does. - Ask Him to guide you in using what you learn to serve others. - Pray for opportunities to lead others to Him. The Bible, the Holy Spirit, and friendships with believers help us change our hearts. With God’s help, we can shift from selfish living to selfless living.. ❤️❤️❤️
