True Humility And Wisdom
Proverbs 22:4 "Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life" Prayer:
Jesus, You have shown me what true humility looks like by giving up Your life for my sake. Today, as I interact with other people, it helps me to consider others before myself. And help me to do this not from a place of insecurity but because I know who I am, and I love who You are. Amen. Amen. John 6:35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
Jesus replied, “I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God’s kingdom!” THANK GOD. Christ Brings Real-Life You have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord. Now keep on following Him. Plant your roots in Christ and let Him be the foundation for your life. Be strong in your faith, just as you were taught. And be grateful. God Bless You
Friends, be glad, even if you have a lot of trouble. You know you learn to endure by having your faith tested. But you must learn to endure everything, so you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything. (James 1:2-4) The lions may grow weak and hungry, I pray that God, who gives hope, will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith. May the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope. (Romans 15:13 CEV) God granted King Solomon, the great King of Israel, unparalleled wisdom, which he used to write much of the book of Proverbs. He begins with: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” This truth is reinforced in Proverbs 22:4: “The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.” Solomon enjoyed unimaginable wealth, honor, and a prosperous life. While we may not be kings, this principle remains relevant today. In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul offers a prayer that provides context for Proverbs 22:4: “…the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him…” This teaches us that approaching God with humility grants us wisdom and knowledge. Our faith in Him leads to honor and blessings that come from being in Christ. Through humility and reverence for God, we receive His promises of riches, honor, and life, some of which are fulfilled on earth, with all promises realized when Jesus returns. Our response will be to give Him all the glory. ❤️❤️❤️
